Our church is beginning a thoughtful process to hire a Minister of Care and Community Engagement in 2023. The Board of Trustees is forming a Minister Search Committee to partner with Rev. Dr. Daniel Kanter to select this minister. The search process will begin in summer 2022 and carry forward into spring 2023. The search process will consider candidates through the Unitarian Universalist Association’s official process and beyond to ensure the greatest possible diversity and equity in the search process. The Board and Rev. Kanter have determined together that this ministerial position will be a hired minister (not a called minister).

Nominations to serve on the Minister Search Committee will be welcomed through end of day Sunday June 5, 2022. You may nominate yourself or another church member by emailing and share your brief comments on why you believe the person you are nominating would be a strong addition to the Minister Search Committee. The Board will contact all nominees to confirm willingness to serve and then will select seven congregants to serve on the Minister Search Committee.

While we undergo this formal search process, we are thrilled to welcome Rev. T.J. Fitzgerald to serve in this role in a one-year contract capacity beginning this August.
