Our Sunday Giveback recipients for March 5 & 12 are Spiritual Alliance of Communities for Reproductive Dignity (SACRED) and Wholly Informed Sex Ed (WISE.) They will receive the whole collection on March 5 and 50% of the collection on March 12.
Spiritual Alliance of Communities for Reproductive Dignity (SACRED) is an alliance of organizers, religious leaders, academics, and congregations working together to advance the cause of reproductive justice through congregational designation and community building programs.
Wholly Informed Sex Ed (WISE) brings comprehensive and inclusive, affirming and anti-racist sexuality education to community settings in Dallas, so young people and families can learn the facts and make informed decisions about their bodies and relationships, for their whole lives.
Our recipients for March 19 & 26 are our Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) and Coming of Age (COA.) They will receive the whole collection on March 19 and 50% of the collection on March 26.
Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) is our youth group, led by youth leaders and adult advisors. They meet weekly for community and fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth.
In Coming of Age (COA) our youth explore their maturing UU religious identity as they learn more about spiritual practice, the history of our faith, and begin to clarify their personal religious positions.
