sumfun! A Unitarian Universalist Day Camp

Help create “sum fun” here at church this summer by volunteering as a Full-Time Counselor, Specialist, Nursery Helper, King/Queen of the Kitchen, or a Part-Time Helper. Counselor training is provided in early June. See below for more information about ways to help, and email to sign up!
sumfun! is for campers entering Kindergarten through 7th grade in the fall of 2023. There is a Counselor In Training program for rising 8th graders.
BONUS: Full-time counselors’ campers can go to sumfun! for free. Childcare is available for their little ones who are too young to be campers.

6 Ways to Help
Full-Time Counselor – At least 22 full-time counselors are needed to make camp happen. In teams of three, counselors make sure campers have a great camp experience. While earning, sharing, and making friends, they have as much fun as campers and sometimes even more!
Specialist – Have a specific talent and are table to spend a day or two at camp. Specialists lead campers in activities like art projects, yoga, tie-dye, science experiments, music or crafts. Make YOUR passion happen!
Help in the Nursery – To provide free childcare for full-time counselors whose little ones are too young to be campers. Fun activities are scheduled throughout the week.
King/Queen of the Kitchen – Create delicious snacktivities for all ages and help a different group of campers cook their lunch each day.
Part-Time Helper – Are eager to help but can’t commit to a whole week. We can use your talents as part-time counselors, kitchen volunteers, activity leaders and more!
