This year First Church is again planning our work with the caseworkers with the Texas Department of Aging and Disabled Services to fulfill holiday gift wishes for adults in the care of the State of Texas. For over twenty years we have supported these individuals who are unable to care for themselves and with the assistance of their caseworkers, have met their holiday gift wishes.

Beginning on Monday, December 12, the wish lists that have not been adopted are all available at the link HERE.  Please check them out to see if you can help by bringing one of these gifts, wrapped and securely tagged, to the Community Services table on or before Sunday, December 18^th.

 

Monetary donations are also welcome, and will be used to purchase gift cards that caseworkers can use to buy gifts for their clients. Donations accepted HERE. Checks can be mailed to First UU at 4015 Normandy Ave., Dallas, TX 75205. Please make the checks out the First Unitarian Church with Adult Gift Drive in the memo line.
