May’s plate collections benefit WISE and SacRed.

 

WISE (Wholly Informed Sex Ed) is a community outreach project founded at First Church, and led by church member and former Board chair Sherri Cook. WISE brings a customized Our Whole Lives curriculum to youth-serving organizations in the Dallas area.

 

SACReD, the Spiritual Alliance of Communities for Reproductive Dignity, is a new, national interfaith initiative with the mission to empower congregations to become loving, justice-seeking faith communities that fully support the fulfillment of reproductive moral agency and flourishing for all. The work of SACReD includes a national designation program, media advocacy, and direct support organizing to help ensure access to abortion care in a post-Roe environment.

May 1st 100% of non-pledge donations will support these two organizations,  as well as 50% of the month’s remaining plate offerings.
