The Young Adults Pints & Ponderings group (20s & 30s) will explore Seasons 1 & 2 of the television show The Good Place that aired on NBC from September 2016-January 2020. This will be a six-part discussion that meets at 1pm on the first or second Sunday (March 7, April 11, May 2, June 6, July 11, and August 1) of each month beginning March 7th and will cover 4 to 5 episodes per discussion.
The Good Place was created by Michael Schur (producer of The Office, co-creator of Parks and Recreation), and is set in a fantasy afterlife. In this version of the afterlife, upon death, all humans are assigned a numerical score that is the sum of the positive and negative values of their actions on earth. That final score determines whether they end up in the Good Place or the Bad Place.
Meeting dates will be the first or second Sunday of the month (March 7, April 11, May 2, June 6, July 11, and August 1) at 1pm on Zoom.
